Zain and Tarek Get Their Town to Eat Chocolate Again (Short Story)

 (short story written for my nephews)

Last night I heard a disturbing sound

To be more clear: from *your* house, very very late last night (while you guys were sleeping...or were *supposed* to be sleeping, maybe you were secretly awake and heard it too??), I heard a disturbing sound

What I heard was the jingle jangle...of a story coming into my head:

There were two young men (well...two kids?...anyway!) named Zain and Tarek

Zain and Tarek wanted to eat some chocolate

So they went to the chocolate person and said can we have some chocolate please

But the chocolate person said I don't have any chocolate anymore

All the people eat vanilla now, they stopped eating chocolate

I'm not going to keep chocolate only for you!

So Zain and Tarek knew they had to get everyone to change from eating vanilla to eating chocolate

So Zain and Tarek went to the highest place where everyone in town could see and hear them

Zain and Tarek told everyone: people stop eating vanilla and get back to eating chocolate please!

But everyone told them nooooo

We like vanilla!

It's almost the year 2028

And we won't eat any more cho co late!

Zain and Tarek knew they had to quickly try something else

Otherwise they wouldn't be able to get chocolate any more!

So Zain and Tarek asked the people: Ok, but do you like to eat biryani?

And everyone said: yes!

We love to eat biryani!

Then Zain and Tarek said OK then why don't you eat lots and lots of biryani!

Because they knew that after eating biryani

People would want chocolate for something sweet to refresh their mouth

Vanilla doesn't go well with biryani, it's too plain

So everyone started to eat chocolate again

after eating lots and lots of biryani

Then not only the chocolate person but even the biryani person started carrying chocolate

For Zain and Tarek so that they could get chocolate *whenever* they wanted
